Soapstone has been used since time immemorial by sculptors, and Inuit artwork is a testimony of this tradition. Carving grade soapstone is easy to carve because of its higher talc content. Its plastic and aesthetic qualities, along with its unique hue, give a distinctive dimension to any artwork. We also provide serpentine for sculptors who want to work with a harder material.
